First airing for Obamacare replacement

House committees in the US capital plan to begin voting on the replacement of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on Wednesday.

The ACA, or Obamacare, was introduced by the previous President Barack Obama and has been credited for helping more than 20 million formerly uninsured Americans to access health insurance.

But increases in insurance premiums have been blamed on Obamacare and new President Donald Trump has been highly critical of the policy and promised to replace it.
