The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is certainly not unfamiliar with statements such as this one, stated by the American politician, Joseph Crowley.
It can be argued that for any critical government agency and institution of its stature, criticism is a natural extension of the package. The FDA is the world’s biggest watchdog of healthcare and no stranger to criticism. Debates around its effectiveness, transparency and authority have been present since its inception.
