As part of the regular updates of the Association of Pharmaceutical Companies of Greece (SFEE) with representatives of the Patient Associations, another meeting of the SFEE Patient Think Tank was held this month.
At the meeting, which was attended by more than 60 representatives of Patient Associations and executives of the Association and its member companies, everyone's common request for the creation of a patient-centered sustainable public health system was highlighted.
The representatives of SFEE referred to the developments in European and Greek pharmaceutical policy. Among other things, the results of the most recent study by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) - Patients WAIT Indicator Survey - concerning patient waits for access to innovative treatments, as well as the review of European pharmaceutical legislation and the challenges it will bring to innovation and access, were presented.
