A new pharma-partnered project has been set up to build a large-scale, federated network of data sources standardized to a common model.
The European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN), a public-private project, will operate in Europe for the coming five years.
It was set up under the framework of the Innovative Medicines Initiative, co-funded by the trade association EFPIA and the European Commission, with 22 partners, including academia, SMEs, patient associations, regulatory authorities and pharma companies.
