Esteve nabs former Lunbeck exec to be chief business development officer

Family-controlled Spanish pharma company Laboratorios Esteve today announced the appointment of Jacob Tolstrup as chief business development officer, part of the executive management and reporting to Staffan Schüberg, chief executive of the company.

Mr Tolstrup has held positions that provided him with a holistic understanding of the business, including corporate functions comprising business strategy and development, and marketing.

Before joining Esteve, he held the position of executive vice president of commercial operations at Denmark’s CNS specialist Lundbeck (LUND: CO). Mr Tolstrup's academic background includes an MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law and an MBA in International Management.
