A letter accidentally filed by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) shows that the US Government and Novartis (NOVN: VX) have made "significant progress" settling claims that the Swiss pharma giant paid kickbacks to doctors.
The prematurely published document, revealed by Bloomberg, was written to US District Judge Paul Gardephe. It states that the "monetary aspect" of the settlement has been finalized.
