US cancer drug developer Context Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CNTX) saw its share close up 27.3% at $1.75 yesterday, after it revealed it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with certain new and existing investors in a private placement that is expected to result in gross proceeds of approximately $100.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and estimated offering expenses.
The private placement is expected to close on May 6, 2024, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
