Chinese radiopharma firm raises over $100 million

18 November 2024

In yet another sign of the mounting interest in radiopharmaceuticals, Tongrui Biopharma, a Chinese innovator in this area, has announced the completion of a $100 million series A+ financing round.

The funding was led by Shenzhen Capital Group and Tailong Investment, with participation from GL Ventures, 3SBio (HKEX: 1530), and other backers.

The money will be used to accelerate clinical development of the company’s alpha radionuclide drug conjugates and enhance its core technology platforms for targeted precursor discovery and high-throughput screening.
