Canada gets head start with COVID-19 vaccine candidate

One of only a handful of COVID-19 vaccine candidates currently in clinical trials in the world is to begin initial evaluation in Canada.

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has announced a collaboration with CanSino Biologics (HK: 6185) to advance bioprocessing and clinical development in the North American country of a candidate vaccine against the virus.
