BRIEF‪—Perrigo buys oral healthcare firm for $750 million

Dublin, Ireland-based Perrigo has bought privately-held Ranir Global for $750 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis.

Ranir has over 300 oral care products including toothbrushes, whitening strips and dentures, sold in over 50 countries. The firm generated net sales of $287 million in 2018.

Perrigo chief executive Murray Kessler said: "The addition of Ranir to the Perrigo family illustrates a key component of our new strategy, accelerating growth by pursuing adjacent self-care categories.”
