Women’s health company Organon has appointed Juan Camilo Arjona Ferreira as chief medical officer and Charlotte Owens as head of medical affairs and outcomes research.
Formerly CMO at Myovant Sciences, Dr Arjona Ferreira has also held leadership roles in women’s health and other therapeutic areas at Shionogi and Merck & Co.
Dr Owens joins Organon with over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, most recently as VP and head of the center for patient affairs at Takeda. She has also held senior positions at AbbVie, Kimberly Clark, and Johnson & Johnson.
Spun out of US pharma giant Merck & Co in 2021, Organon now offers more than 60 medicines and products in women’s health, and is developing a significant biosimilars business across therapeutic areas.
