BRIEF—Measles outbreak in USA worsens

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced that there have been a total of 880 measles cases reported this year.

It is the largest number of cases reported to the American health agency in more than 20 years.

Last week there were an additional 41 cases reported to the agency, many of those were in New York.
