BRIEF—Japan approved 23 ethical drugs in 2017

Japan's medicines regulator the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) approved 23 new molecular entities (NMEs) as ethical drugs in 2017, reports Pharma Japan.
This represents reportedly the lowest figure in the past five years.
