BRIEF—Executive promotion at Sanofi

French pharma major Sanofi has appointed Dominique Carouge as executive vice president head of business transformation, effective February 15, 2018.

In this role, Mr Carouge will be in charge of accelerating the transformation of the company and will be a member of the executive committee.

He has served as deputy chief financial officer and head of finance operations and group controlling since January 1, 2016.

Mr Carouge previously served as vice president, administration and management for global R&D since 2011. Prior to that, he held the role of VP, chief strategy and finance officer for the group’s vaccines business Sanofi Pasteur since 2009.
