BRIEF—Executive appointments at Covis Pharma

Swiss specialty drugmaker Covis Pharma has appointed Raghav Chari as chief innovation officer and Nicolas Verbeke as senior vice president, Europe & International.

The company, which markets therapies for people with life-threatening conditions and chronic illnesses, is gearing up for what it calls an “accelerated company growth journey.”

As well as 25 years experience in senior pharma roles, including at Promius Pharma and Dr Reddy’s, Mr Chari has experience founding and developing biotech startups.

Mr Verbeke joins Covis after two decades of consulting and pharmaceutical leadership positions across multiple multinational companies, including at Astellas Gene Therapies.
