BRIEF—Ethypharm appoints new corporate development chief

Independent French drugmaker Ethypharm has appointed Frédéric Molin as executive VP of corporate development, with responsibility for in-licensing, partnerships and M&A.

Chief executive Hugues Lecat said, “Frédéric will bring a fresh perspective to the group and his proven business acumen and joint pharmacist & marketing expertise will enable him to make a valuable contribution to develop our business.”

Mr Molin leaves Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, where he occupied the role of corporate licensing manager from 2005, before becoming corporate licensing acquisition director in 2013.
