BRIEF—China's CDE comes out of lockdown

26 May 2020

China's medicines regulator the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) re-opened its office on Monday, after months-long lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the staged reopening plan, companies must get an appointment before sending people to hand over filing documents at the CDE.

The agency continues to encourage companies to use delivery service to deliver documents.

On-site consulting service is not resumed yet.
