BRIEF—Amazon appoints new head of PillPack

US tech giant Amazon has reportedly appointed former VP of logistics Nader Kabbani as head of the firm’s pharmacy group PillPack.

Amazon bought the pharmacy group in June 2018 for $800 million, worrying shares in established pharmacy chains such as Walgreens Boots Alliance and drugstore operator CVS Health Corp.

Amazon has for several years been rumored to be interested in entering the healthcare market in the USA.
