Better pull mechanisms asked for as part of Europe's solution to AMR

During World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, demands for action are being made at European level as well nationally.

The Japanese drugmaker Shionogi (TYO: 4507) has led this work by staging an event last week, when the firm joined forces with members of the European Parliament (MEPs), Active Citizenship Network and an MEPs Interest Group on European patients' rights and cross-border healthcare, to discuss initiatives to tackle AMR.
