The Australian government will inject A$250 million $184 million) into a biomedical research fund to help bring ground breaking discoveries to market, it has been announced.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull unveiled the plans as part of the government’s A$1.1 billion innovation and science plan.
The new Biomedical Translation Fund will invest in promising discoveries and inject the necessary funds to progress commercialization.
