Ambitious UK access scheme launched with promise to 'cut red tape'
The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has formally launched the Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP).
This new licensing and access pathway is aimed at reducing the time to market for innovative therapies and promises a new era in medicines approvals in the UK following the country’s departure from the European Union (EU).
