Allergan announces share buyback and CFO departure

Drugmaker Allergan has announced a new $2 billion share repurchase program, calling it a demonstration of ‘confidence in our future prospects’.

The Ireland-incorporated company also revealed the news on Monday that its chief financial officer, Tessa Hilado, was to retire after nearly three years in the role.
