Aetna to take its medicine after revealing patients' HIV status

The US health insurance company Aetna (NYSE: AET) has been handed a $1.15 million fine and a scolding from the New York State Attorney General for leaking patients’ HIV status.

This news comes as Aetna is in the process of being taken over by CVS Health (NYSE: CVS), the largest pharmacy healthcare provider in the USA, in a $69 billion deal.
