ABPI bangs pharma drum again ahead of election

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has had its say on the upcoming UK election for a second time this week.

While the trade group initially issued a challenge to all political parties to set out in detail how they will unlock the industry’s potential to drive UK health and economic growth, this time it has given its reaction to the Conservatives’ election manifesto.

The ABPI has welcomed the party’s proposals intended to improve and accelerate access to new medicines in the National Health Service (NHS).
