AbbVie set up for new filing for potential blockbuster

New data has added to the clamor surrounding AbbVie’s (NYSE: ABBV) elagolix.

The US drugmaker, together with its partner Neurocrine Biosciences (Nasdaq: NBIX), has presented positive top-line results from a second Phase III trial of the drug in uterine fibroids.
