Orbital Therapeutics names biopharma vet Ron Philip as CEO

Cambridge, USA-based Orbital Therapeutics today announced the appointment of Ron Philip as chief executive (CEO) and a member of its board of directors.

Orbital launched in September 2020 with a vision of enhancing global health by unleashing the full potential of RNA medicines to treat human disease in ways that were not previously possible, and last year announced the successful closing of a $270 million Series A financing.
