- Mylan Pharmaceutical has signed a definitive agreement to buy UDL Laboratories, a supplier of unit dose generic drugs to the institutional and long-term care markets. The transaction, which is expected to be completed by early 1996, will be in the form of a tax-free reorganization, with Mylan acquiring UDL for around $47 million, payable in Mylan common shares.
