Setback for Servier in generic delay case claimed to have cost the NHS £250 million

The High Court in London has ruled against attempts by Servier to limit damages it owes for infringements of competition law in the sale and supply of a widely-prescribed blood pressure drug.

This ruling follows an 11-year dispute between the French drugmaker and the UK’s Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and the wider National Health Service (NHS).
