Management changes at Mylan, Transition Thera, Pfizer and ShangPharma

US generic drug major Mylan (Nasdaq: MYL) has announced the appointment of John Thievon as president of Dey Pharma, its fully integrated specialty pharmaceutical business.

Mr Thievon has more than 20 years of professional experience in strategic product launches, marketing, commercialization, sales penetration and distribution leadership. Most recently, he served as president and chief executive of MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals. In this capacity, he helped build the company from an 18-person start-up to a 450-person organization before the company's assets were acquired by Victory Pharma.
