British generics firm boosts portfolio with Canute buy

Aspire Pharma, a UK-based niche generics business, has announced the acquisition of all assets from Canute Pharma, further expanding its product range.

The deal is expected to open new opportunities for international expansion, and includes Canute’s facility in Cheshire, which will now serve as Aspire’s main distribution hub for certain products.

Aspire chief executive officer Richard Condon said the purchase "brings a number of innovative products, which will strengthen our commitment to providing high-quality skincare solutions to patients.”
