Bright Way Group, the Russian investment company and pharmaceutical producer, plans to invest up to 3 billion roubles ($38 million) in the building of a large-scale pharmaceutical factory in the city of Moscow within the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ), according to recent statements by Moscow authorities and local media reports.
Currently building of the plant is ongoing, while its commissioning may take place already this year.
The new pharmaceutical plant will produce about 80 types of various drugs, while its launch will help reduce dependence on drug imports by Russia, according to Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.
The new enterprise will be located on the total area of 35,000 square meters and will be one of the largest of its kind in the Moscow region.
The new plant will create more than 370 jobs and produce a wide range of drugs for the treatment of the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal systems, digestive tract, as well as antimicrobials for systemic use.
