Galena posts 2000 results

According to the CTK news agency's Business News, a net profit of 306million koruna ($7.8 million) was recorded on sales worth 2.4 billion koruna last year by the Czech Republic company, Galena, which is about to change its name to Ivax-CR. Compared to 1999, profits were 85% higher and sales rose 12%. 70% of the company's turnover last year was accounted for by exports, with 22% of Galena's production being exported to Russia and 9% going to Slovakia.
