Frederick Beddingfield III given top job at Rubedo

11 November 2024

Rubedo Life Sciences, a US biopharma developing first-in-class therapies targeting senescent cells which drive age-related diseases, has announced the appointment of Frederick C Beddingfield III (pictured, above), as chief executive officer and board director.

Dr Beddingfield succeeds Rubedo founder Marco Quarta, who will transition to the role of chief scientific officer, and will remain on the board.

The appointment follows Rubedo’s recent $40 million Series A financing round announced in April 2024, led by Khosla Ventures and Ahren Innovation Capital, and others.
