Federal funding for Novogen of Australia
Australian company Novogen Ltd has received an A$3.7 million ($2million) federal government grant to further develop its anti-inflammatory drug NV-07. Novogen said NV-07 had been demonstrated in preclinical trials to be able to undo underlying damage to skin. The grant from the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science and Resources, was made under the unit's R&D START program.
