The first iteration of the European Shortages Monitoring Platform (ESMP) has gone live.
Using this version of the ESMP, marketing authorization holders (MAHs) can submit data to routinely report shortages of centrally authorized medicines.
This marks the start of a transition period that will end on February 2 next year, when the use of the platform becomes mandatory.
