Cannabis legislation on the way, but some say pain will remain in Spain

A Spanish framework for medical cannabis usage is finally on the way, Cannabis Health reports.

Regulators in the Iberian country have been delayed by a general election and change of government, holding up a process that had looked to be moving in June 2022.

It was then that the Health Committee of the Spanish Congress of Deputies first approved a subcommittee’s draft report. The plan set out a list of recommendations for the regulation of cannabis-derived medicines for therapeutic use.
