- According to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, women who work in occupations associated with electromagnetic field exposure may run a higher risk of developing breast cancer. However, an accompanying editorial said that the increased risk appears small and marginally significant. The researchers concluded that the results did not prove a definitive association.
