BRIEF—Germany becomes first country to launch LEO Pharma’s Anzupgo
Danish dermatology focused LEO Pharma has announced the launch of Anzupgo (delgocitinib) cream in Germany for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe chronic hand eczema (CHE), for whom topical corticosteroids are inadequate or inappropriate.
The launch makes Germany the first country worldwide where Anzupgo will be available, following the recent European Commission (EC) approval.
“This significant milestone is a true reflection of LEO Pharma’s commitment to address the unmet need in CHE, a condition that historically has been underappreciated,” said Becki Morison, executive vice president, global product strategy and international operations for LEO Pharma.
