The UK’s new 2024 voluntary scheme for branded medicines pricing, access, and growth (VPAG) came into force at the beginning of January this year.
As part of the new scheme, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), on behalf of the entire branded medicines industry, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), and NHS England (NHSE), agreed to conduct operational reviews every six months to ensure it is delivering as intended.
The first of these reviews took place on July 22, and the DHSC has today published the minutes of that meeting.
