Connecticut, USA-based BioXcel Corp says it has appointed "three distinguished biopharma executives" to its corporate advisory board. These are Christopher Seaton, senior vice president of global transactions at Bayer Healthcare, Martha Matteo, recently retired from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals in the USA, where she was the director for knowledge management, and Kevin Rakin, chairman and chief executive of Advanced BioHealing, and, according to BioXcel, "are known throughout the biopharma world as outstanding and highly experienced pharmaceutical professionals."
BioXcel, a global, business/intellectual property analytics company, will work closely with these industry leaders to design and develop new strategies for its next phase of corporate growth - targeted to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, investment, legal and related support industries.
