Zephyrm files for Hong Kong IPO to fund cell therapy work

Zephyrm Bioscience, a Cayman Islands-based biotech, has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong, seeking to raise additional capital to advance its cell therapy pipeline.

The company’s lead product, ZH901, has potential as a treatment for graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), a serious complication following stem cell transplants.

In a Phase II trial, the cell therapy demonstrated a near 78% response rate in patients with acute GvHD, a result which positions it to potentially address a critical unmet need for patients who do not respond to conventional steroid treatments.
