Vor Bio (Nasdaq: VOR) has announced positive data from its ongoing Phase I/II VBP101 study evaluating the combination of trem-cel and Mylotarg (gemtuzumab ozogamicin) in people with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
The data showed reliable engraftment, protection from Mylotarg's on-target toxicity, a widened therapeutic window for Mylotarg, and early signs of patient benefit.
“We are encouraged by this data and the potential benefit that trem-cel in combination with Mylotarg may offer to patients in a disease that has extremely poor outcomes even after transplant,” said Eyal Attar, Vor Bio’s chief medical officer.
