Susvimo program back on track as implants resume

Swiss pharma giant Roche (ROG: SIX) has announced the reintroduction of Susvimo (ranibizumab) in the USA.

The drug, used to treat neovascular or wet age-related macular degeneration, returns to the market following a voluntary recall, and will become available in the coming weeks.

Approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in 2021, Susvimo was recalled the following year after some implants failed to meet standards.
