Seattle start-up ZipBio to use AI for gene therapies

ZipBio, a newly launched start-up based in Seattle, USA, is aiming to set a new standard in the development of biologics and gene therapies by utilizing generative AI technology.

The company will use its proprietary COMPACT platform, which compresses complex biological structures into smaller, more efficient de novo-designed proteins.

The goal is to maintain full functionality and thereby optimize both delivery and therapeutic effectiveness.
