Repair Biotechnologies, a company developing therapies to reverse atherosclerotic plaque, has entered into a collaboration with Genevant Sciences, a specialist in nucleic acid delivery technology.
The partnership will combine Repair’s Cholesterol Degrading Platform (CDP) mRNA technology with Genevant’s lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery platform to develop a new treatment for atherosclerosis.
Repair's CDP mRNA approach aims to reverse cholesterol-driven conditions such as atherosclerosis, a major cause of heart disease.
