Rapport rises on rare IPO

US biotech Rapport Therapeutics (Nasdaq: RAPP) has raised $154 million in an initial public offering (IPO) and concurrent private placement.

Rapport is focused on the discovery and development of transformational small molecule medicines for patients suffering from central nervous system (CNS) disorders.

Its neuroscience pipeline includes the lead clinical program, RAP-219, designed to achieve neuroanatomical specificity through its selective targeting of a receptor associated protein expressed in only discrete regions of the brain.
