Market research firm Graphical Research has released an analysis indicating that the global biodefense market size is set to grow significantly through to 2028.
The group has identified rising incidences of infectious diseases and bioterrorism activities as being central to this forecast, with several countries increasing production of biodefense products in response.
The concept of biodefense comprises a range of interventions, such as drugs and vaccines, as well as surveillance and R&D activities.
