Lindis Biotech sells rights to trifunctional bispecific
Germany’s Lindis Biotech, a specialist in multi-specific antibody platforms, has announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Pharmanovia, for the commercialization of Korjuny (catumaxomab).
This trifunctional bispecific monoclonal antibody is aimed at treating malignant ascites, a complication arising in advanced-stage cancers.
Most common in ovarian, pancreatic, and gastric cancers, malignant ascites severely impacts quality of life. Existing treatments like paracentesis provide temporary relief but lack long-term efficacy.
