Leap lurches forward following BeiGene deal news

US biotech Leap Therapeutics (Nasdaq: LTX) was trading more than 50% higher during Friday morning.

The immuno-oncology specialist had just announced news of a licensing deal with leading Chinese biopharma BeiGene (HKEX: 06160).

This exclusive option and license agreement is for the clinical development and commercialization of DKN-01, Leap's anti-Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) antibody, in Asian countries except Japan, along with Australia and New Zealand.
