IONTAS and IGEM enter into oncology collaboration

Cambridge, UK-based IONTAS is to collaborate with IGEM Therapeutics, an immuno-oncology (I-O) spinout from Kings College London, to identify novel antibodies against two targets.

IGEM, which closed a series A funding round late last year, has been working on novel immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies to treat cancer.

The project will add to IGEM’s pipeline of drugs and expand upon IGEM-F, an IgE targeting ovarian and other cancers, currently in a Phase I/IIa study.
